You have trials, struggles, difficulties, and illness. We all do. May our God and Father come close to you while you are down.
In 1624, John Donne wrote Meditation 17, “No man is an island. . . Every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main.” Involving ourselves with the world becomes necessary for DCF. Learning about each other drives us deep into the history of our faith and culture, morals, even politics. Everything we learn shows us greater need for prayer. That need is also our joy.
It can be difficult to bear the burdens of many people on a prayer list, but we are called to do so. Praying makes our own problems easier, and puts us in the center of God’s Court of Praise. We always want to hear from others who share our faith. We also want to pray for you. Of course, we also covet your prayers. Please, pray for us!
